More flexibility thanks to extended trading hours

On 1 December 2025, SIX Swiss Exchange introduced a new trading segment with extended trading hours for structured and leverage products. The Swiss exchange is responding to global market demand and to the growing need of private investors for more flexible trading times.

BNP Paribas welcomes this development and will use the new segment to give investors greater freedom of action. From now on, most leverage products^* offered by BNP Paribas can be traded on SIX Swiss Exchange from 08:00 to 21:45 CET.

The extended trading hours give investors more time to implement their investment decisions and enable a more flexible reaction to developments in international markets. In particular, investors who actively trade leverage products on U.S. underlyings will find the longer hours attractive, because they can now respond to events on the American market until shortly before the U.S. exchanges close at 22:00 CET.

^* Leverage products on the stocks of Lindt & Sprüngli and BB Biotech are excluded.
